Capo is a football organiser app built for informal groups of mates who play weekly small-sided football. It handles the admin that usually falls on one person — confirming who’s playing, sorting dropouts, picking fair teams and collecting money — while giving everyone fantasy-style stats, AI-written player profiles and something to talk about between games.

We ran the same weekly football game for over 14 years — first with a simple spreadsheet, then with a ridiculous one full of macros and graphs. In 2025, we decided to build the proper app we always wanted. Every feature in Capo has been battle-tested in real games. We’re building the app we wish we’d had from the start.
Capo was founded by Ian Strang, who has organised the same Thursday night game since 2011.
