Capo generates AI-written player bios based on match stats and history. They're a bit of fun — like having a commentator sum up each player's career.
Each profile is a short paragraph covering things like:
The tone is friendly and a bit banter-y — like something you'd hear in the WhatsApp group, not a corporate report.
Profiles are generated automatically every week (Sunday night). They update based on recent matches so the content stays fresh.
A player needs at least 5 matches before they get a profile — there needs to be enough data for the AI to say something meaningful.
Tip
As an admin, you can trigger a profile regeneration if you want fresh content without waiting for Sunday:
This queues a new profile to be generated. It might take a minute or two to appear.
AI profiles show on each player's profile page, visible to anyone in the group. Players can see their own profile and everyone else's.
They're designed to be shareable — something to screenshot and drop in the group chat when the AI writes something particularly accurate (or hilariously wrong).
AI isn't perfect
Profiles are generated from data your group has already recorded in Capo — match results, goals, awards, etc. The AI doesn't know anything about players beyond what's in the app.
Profiles are only visible to people in your group. They're not public or searchable.
