Connecting Stripe

Connect your Stripe account to collect match fees automatically. No more chasing payments via bank transfer — players pay when they book.

Why use Stripe?

  • Automatic collection — Players pay when they book, not after
  • No chasing — No more "I'll pay you later" or forgotten Revolut transfers
  • Fast payments — Apple Pay, Google Pay, and saved cards for 2-tap booking
  • Weekly payouts — Money lands in your bank every Monday

What you'll need

Stripe needs to verify your identity before you can accept payments. Have these ready:

  • Your bank details — Account number and sort code for payouts
  • Your date of birth — Standard identity check
  • Your address — UK address for verification

Most people complete setup in under 5 minutes.

Setting up your account

1

Go to Payments

Open Payments from your admin menu, then tap the Stripe tab.
2

Tap Connect Stripe

You'll be redirected to Stripe's secure setup page.
3

Complete verification

Enter your details as prompted. Stripe pre-fills some information to speed things up.
4

Return to Capo

Once complete, you'll be redirected back. Your account status will show as Connected.

Tip

If you close Stripe's page before finishing, just tap Complete Stripe Setup to resume where you left off.

How payouts work

Your match fee earnings accumulate in your Stripe balance throughout the week. Every Monday, Stripe automatically transfers the balance to your bank account.

You can view your balance, upcoming payouts, and payout history in the Stripe Dashboard (accessible from the Stripe tab).

Weekly payouts help with refunds

We set up weekly payouts (not daily) so there's always a balance available if someone cancels and needs a refund. This prevents delays.

Managing your account

  • View Dashboard — See your full payment history, payouts, and Stripe settings
  • Disconnect — Remove your Stripe connection (you'll switch back to free matches)

If you disconnect Stripe, existing paid matches will remain in your history, but you won't be able to accept new payments until you reconnect.

What's next?

Once connected, you can:

  • Set your default price — In Setup → Matches, set what you receive per player
  • Create paid matches — New matches can now require payment to book
  • Sell season passes — Let regulars pre-pay for multiple matches
