Regular Games

Play the same slot every week? Tell Capo once. It keeps the next game created, and opens booking when you choose, even if nobody enters a score.

Set one up

On Create Match, Repeat starts on Doesn't repeat. Pick Every week, or every 2, 3 or 4 weeks. Time is then required. Venue stays optional, and the rest of the form stays as it is.

The first game is created straight away. After that, Capo creates the next one when the current game is finished, cancelled, or an hour past the end of the match. You don't have to tap anything.

Booking opens

For RSVP and Auto-Pilot, Booking opens on Create Match sets when:

  • •After the previous game — booking opens an hour after the previous game ends, so the match report lands first. Players are told at the same moment. The first game opens straight away.
  • •On a set day and time… — pick when booking opens each week, in club time. The choice then shows as, for example, Thursdays at 9am. The first game opens at the next one, or straight away if that has passed.

On Regulars first, a line under Booking opens shows when the later groups can book, for example Semi-regulars Tue 9am · Everyone else Wed 9am. The hours come from Setup → Matches, and none open in the last hour before kickoff.

Notify players when booking opens is on by default. Switch it off and booking opens the same way, with no push or chat line.

Team size, booking mode and price are saved with the game, including when they match Setup. Changing them in Setup later does not change this series. Payment mode and who pays fees still follow Setup → Payments. Change the series later from Edit on the regular game.

Tip

Each opening still posts in the club chat, the same as a one-off game.

On the Matches page

Each regular game has a card on the Active tab, above the matches. The ⋯ menu is where you manage it. Games that came from it show a repeat icon.

  • •Edit — day, time, venue, how often, and when booking opens. A change to the day, time or venue can also move the game already set up. Other changes apply from the game after that.
  • •Skip dates — tick weeks you're not playing. The club chat says there's no game that week. If that week is already set up, cancel the match instead. Deleting it skips the date so Capo doesn't put it back, and players get the usual cancellation.
  • •Pause — pick the date to resume from. No new games until then. The one already set up stays. On that date the next game opens at its usual time, not at midnight. Resume brings it back sooner.
  • •Stop — ends the series. If the next game hasn't opened yet and nobody is in, you can cancel that game too. Otherwise it stays, and you cancel it from the match if you need to.

If nobody plays three weeks in a row, the card says so and pauses itself. Resume when you're ready.

Just this game, or every week

Change the date, time or venue on a game that repeats and Capo asks Just this game or This and future games. Just this game can't move onto next week's day — skip that week instead. Moving a game tells booked players and the waitlist, with the same Save without telling choice as any other match.

After you save a result

If this match is a regular game that's still running, the saved screen shows the next one — for example "Next game already set up: Thu 15 Oct · 7:00pm". It doesn't ask you to set up next week. To skip or change it, use the card on Matches.

A one-off match still asks "Same time next week?" with a one-tap Set up. Booking for it opens an hour later, when players are told, so the match report lands first.

What players see

A normal match. The day, the kickoff and the venue, and booking opens at the time you set. They don't see the schedule.
